Refund and Fraud Policy

This Refund and Fraud Policy explains how image-layer.com ("image layer," "we," "us," or "our") handles orders, credits, paid plans, refund requests, chargebacks, fraud, and abuse.

If you believe there is a billing or access issue, contact [email protected] with your account email, order reference, and a clear description of the problem.

1. Orders and Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe or another authorized payment provider. By completing an order, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the selected plan, credit pack, subscription, or digital access.

Please review the selected product, credit amount, plan duration, renewal terms, billing email, price, taxes, and currency before payment. You are responsible for taxes, card fees, exchange rates, bank fees, and any local charges imposed by your financial institution or applicable law.

2. Digital Access and Credits

image-layer.com provides digital AI and image processing tools. Credits, plans, exports, queue access, model access, and related features may be delivered or consumed shortly after purchase. Because the Service involves digital access and resource-intensive processing, refund eligibility depends on order status, usage activity, technical records, account history, and policy compliance.

Credits may expire according to the plan or pack terms shown at purchase or in the pricing page. Used credits, consumed generations, completed exports, and delivered digital access are generally not refundable.

3. Refund Requests

3.1 How to Request Review

Send refund requests to [email protected] with your account email, order reference, payment date, and a concise explanation. We may ask for additional information to verify the request.

3.2 Review Standard

Refund decisions are made at our discretion after reviewing the order, payment status, account activity, credit usage, generation history, export activity, technical records, support history, and policy compliance. Approval of one request does not require approval of future requests.

3.3 Situations We May Review

We may review refund requests involving duplicate charges, confirmed unauthorized transactions, incorrect billing caused by our systems, or verified platform-side access failures that prevent normal use and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

3.4 Situations Generally Not Eligible

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Used credits, completed generations, completed exports, or partially consumed plans
  • Dissatisfaction with AI output quality, layer accuracy, edge quality, prompt interpretation, image style, model behavior, queue time, or feature availability
  • Failure to review product details, plan terms, renewal terms, credit expiration, pricing, or policies before purchase
  • Account suspension or termination caused by Terms violations, fraud, chargeback abuse, account sharing, unauthorized automation, or prohibited content
  • Uploading, requesting, generating, editing, storing, or distributing prohibited sexual material or illegal content
  • Loss of access caused by your device, browser, network, region, bank, payment provider, third-party platform, or violation of law
  • Subscription renewals where cancellation was not completed before renewal
  • Fees charged by payment processors, banks, card networks, tax authorities, or currency conversion services

3.5 Timing

Requests should be submitted promptly after the issue occurs. Delayed requests may be denied if logs are unavailable, usage has occurred, the order has renewed, credits have expired, or the facts cannot be verified.

4. Subscriptions and Cancellations

If a subscription or recurring plan is available, you are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want to continue. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges, used access, or the current billing period unless we approve a refund after review.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, contact [email protected] so we can review the issue directly. Opening a chargeback may result in temporary or permanent account restriction while the dispute is investigated.

If a chargeback is opened, we may provide order records, payment details, account records, login data, credit usage, generation history, export activity, policy violations, support messages, and technical logs to payment processors, banks, card networks, fraud prevention services, or legal authorities.

False, abusive, repeated, or bad-faith disputes may result in loss of access, permanent account termination, and responsibility for dispute fees, collection costs, or other losses permitted by law.

6. Fraud and Abuse Prevention

We use internal systems and third-party tools to detect fraud, stolen payment methods, payment abuse, suspicious orders, account sharing, automated abuse, API misuse, policy evasion, security threats, and prohibited content. We may review, delay, cancel, restrict, suspend, or terminate orders and accounts when needed to protect the Service, users, payment systems, or our business.

Prohibited conduct includes using stolen cards, submitting false billing information, sharing or selling accounts, reselling credits, abusing promotions, creating multiple accounts to bypass limits, scraping the Service, attacking infrastructure, abusing API keys, evading moderation, concealing prohibited activity, or attempting to obtain refunds through false claims.

Accounts involved in fraud, payment abuse, prohibited sexual material, illegal activity, security attacks, or serious Terms violations may be permanently terminated without refund and may be reported to payment processors, fraud prevention networks, law enforcement, or other relevant parties.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this policy at any time. Updated versions take effect when posted or otherwise communicated. Continued use of image-layer.com after an update means you accept the updated policy.
